Trail Description: Family-owned and operated Guest Ranch located 9 miles east of Burney, CA. 16-stall barn offers lodging for guest horses. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses our driveway for miles of trails. Burney Mountain Guest Ranch sits on 114 acres surrounded by BLM and PGE land. We are centrally located in the Intermountain Area. Minutes from Fall River Golf Course, Burney Falls State Park, Lassen National Park. Local waters include Baum Lake, Lake Britton, Crystal Lake, Fall River, Pit River. We are the closest accommodations to wild trout section of Hat Creek. New cedar cabins surround our casting pond. Your stay includes 3 meals a day served family-style in the main lodge. Directions: From junction of 299 East and 89, go 2.7 miles on 299 East. Turn right on Hat Creek PH#2. Go straight up the hill - we're the only ones on the road.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
