Trail Description Beatiful and well maintained trails through the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. River gorges, pristine valleys, ridge top traverses, and gentle hillside paths, this place has it all.
Best Time to Visit early summer and fall
Times to Avoid even in summer the trails are well shaded and cool
Campground 35 trailer sites even for large rigs. Electric hookups and shower house with ice available. All shades sites with hitching stalls. "Sister" campground and trails at "Bear Creek" located 20 miles north in KY. Smaller but more availability and beautiful.

Notes on Difficulty Rating:  
 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
