We enjoyed our stay at Wild Horse immensely. The camp host was friendly and informative of some of the trails. We enjoyed the different levels of difficulty on the trails. Most times of the year there are streams running that add to the beauty of the area. The horses were comfortable in their corrals (which are more like first come first served). You want to arrive early to ensure a corral close to your camping spot. You will want to bring all the necessities with you including: feed, buckets for water, hoses, mucking utencils, bedding, blankets (it does get chilly at night), firewood (if they allow you to have a fire at the time of your visit), and all human essentials. Weekends are typically busy, as we So Cal residents lead busy lives and like to live it up ont he weekends. Be sure to make your reservations in advance. We are definitely planning a return trip this spring and summer.
