Really nice views and great trails. Day use only, but camping and corrals are at the KOA on Soledad road. currently work is going on to improve the park, and the BCH, and Corral 9 from ETI have rebuilt the trails. There are some kind of hairy downs and ups for the timid, and even a way to go under the 14 freeway to the forest on the other side. Very popular on weekends, but room is usually easy to find to park and stage. Tie rails all around, and picnic tables, are scattered among the trees. Lots of hiking and nature trails here, and supplies are just about 1-2 miles outside the park. Feed and tack is available in Acton or Aqua Dulce, and easy pull into and out to the highway. |
