| Trail Description |
The Fork has direct access 1/4 mile from our barn to over 33 miles of our private equestrian trails, as well as Big South Fork Trails. Our private "Highlands" trail system has large wide trails which are mostly sandy. It was professionally designed to wind through rock cliffs and caves which ride along the brim of the Pouge Creek Canyon. The overlooks are breathtaking and some of the most beautiful in the area. Our access to the Big South Fork trail system connects to the Wild Cat Den, Spruce Creek, Hippie Cave loop of the Big South Fork. We also have a horse taxi which will take you to several other trail heads that offer beginner, intermediate, and challenging trails. Call for more details of the trails. We are riders and can answer any questions you may have. |

Spring trails can be muddy, call ahead if you want to ride in BSF. Our private trails stay in good shape as they are very sandy. |

We are the premier Bed and Breakfast, lodging, horse back riding and retreat destination located at the boundaries of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, Pickett State Park, and Pouge Creek.
Come enjoy a hearty home cooked breakfast, after a good nights rest in one of our peaceful, updated B&B rooms. There are 11 rooms to choose from. We also have four private Cabins, which overlook our walking trails and gardens. We can pack you a lunch to go while your out exploring the the amazing sites of the Cumberland Plateau. Meet back in the main lodge over a delicious evening meal and share your days adventures with other lodging guests.

For our equine guests we offer 26 large 10 by 12 stalls, over 30 miles of private trails which feature some of the most stunning overlooks on the Plateau. You can also ride to over 200 miles of Big South Fork trails from the Stables.
