Trail Description Unwind in style at Jackass Flats and Big Bend! Located 25 miles north of Big Bend National Park Gate and the Terlingua Ghost Town on the beautiful Rio Grande! Our vacation destination is perfect for horse enthusiasts, offering a stress-free experience for both you and your equine companions. We provide a variety of amenities, including trailer/RV hookups, arena access, horse stalls, primitive camping, B&Bs, The Little Burro country store and The Tin Barn Art Gallery on site! Also ask about our guided horseback and wagon rides through hundreds of miles of private land here in The Big Bend. Several trails to Terlingua creek 4 to 6 miles round trip. Black hill and 9 point mesa trails 5 to 6 miles round trip. Remote cowboy camps with Chuckwagon dinner under the stars.
