Trail Description There are 2 loops from the trailhead. The East loop has a small wooden bridge crossing and 1 short steep rocky incline with easy access to the river in one location. Access to the west loop requires crossing an asphalt road. Trails are mostly wooded area with dirt/grass surface with a few small rocky areas. Trails are open sunrise to sunset mid-May through August, closed November 1 through March 31, with restricted hours the remaining months, check the website for times.

Campground Campground has pit toilets with hand water pump for livestock only. No electricity. Campsites have a fire pit with good hitching posts.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
