Trail Description Several crossings over bike trails, but clearly marked. Pets not allowed except on a leash. Great place to winter ride. Permits are required for all activities except hiking. Permits can be obtained at Manchester State Forest Headquarters, Manchester State Forest Rifle & Pistol Range or by mail. Annual permits are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are valid for trail use available at Harbison State Forest and Sand Hills State Forest. Daily permits are valid for the date of purchase. Permits must be in possession while riding. Trails open only on Sunday September until December 20 for hunting.
Best Time to Visit All trails are open daily from December 31 through September 14.
Times to Avoid Trails and roads designated as Equine Trails on this trail guide are open from sunrise to sunset on Sunday only during deer hunting season from September 15 through December 30.
Campground camping at Poinsett State Park with adjacent trail access.
