camp was great, empty till Friday night, lots of boats commen off the river, clean rest rooms very rustic, you have to cross a water feature to head towards kalkaska. camp cost 6 bucks a night per person, has hand well or electric but you have to supply the 5,000 watt generator

We arrived at camp on Wednesday night and had the whole campground to ourselves until Friday evening...what peace and tranquility!! We loved the trails and the river! Want a great place to enjoy!

camp ground is peaceful with always convenient available water for horse and camper. Peaceful , scenic trails full of wildlife (saw my first black bear pulling into camp 7/5/06) logging roads aren't marked for trails, so a scence of direction is needed. see addition comments further down website ( Goose Creek )

Nice trail heading west from the camp toward Kalkaska. Kids had a great time splashing in the river. A lot of campers just riding the nearby trails and floating the river. Nice folks, thanks for the hospitality.
