Multiple trails to choose with varying degrees of difficulty. Beautiful river and creek views, and several waterfalls, meadows, and lakes can be your destination on different trails. Trails are well-maintained (BCH-Mid-Valley Unit)within the first hour or two of riding...further out you may encounter some obstacles. Plenty of room at each camp for horses on high-lines or portable corrals. Stock water available, and river is less than 100 yards from most camps. Best time, in a typical year, would be late June to early August. Can get a little dusty later in the season. |
