Stopped by to check place out for future riding as we have a place not far away for fishing and were impressed with improvements. Pens, parking pads, shade, clean and current camp host really nice. Berthing people to come so it will stay open and available, they're really trying to make it attractive. Summer really hit so suggest spring, fall, and those few nice winter days. We'll be riding there in 2013.

Improvements have been made in the last year to the camp. Some pens and upgraded campsites, new tables, concrete slabs. Trails are easy and no challenge, not rocky either. Nice place to go.

Campground was a little hard to manuver large trailers in, but once you wiggled into a spot it was great. No tie posts, but some room for small electric pens. Clean bath house! Trails were great with NO ROCKS! We found the method to the trails and how and why they were marked like they were and riding was a snap. Markers could be more plain, but we found it difficult to acually get lost (we had heard it was easy to get lost, we found this not to be true) Would highly recomment this ride if your tired of riding in the hills and rocks.

Although we enjoyed campground and trails, I rated 3 star: not all sites have water/electric, no tie poles or hitching posts, water faucet may be long way from your trailer but most sites are shaded. Trails are not marked but were nice to ride. Careful around the banks of Lake Texoma, some spots may be very boggy!!! as a lady we talked to warned us that the day before a horse bogged down and it took several hours to get it out, but we never saw where that happened and did not have any problems at any of the places we went to the lake edge to water our mules. Overall, this is a good place to go camp and ride.
