My favorite place to ride outdoors! Trails are well marked and well maintained. Staging area is easy to access. My somewhat novice horse does great, and we always leave smiling. :o)

One of the best small campgrounds in Michigan. 4 mile is like little Montana lots of hills and beautiful views,9 mile is a very nice ride with varing terrain a small lake of the beatin trail, 6 mile is a rolly polly woodsy ride, nice rustic camp with hand pump and outhouses, fire pits, picnic tables, Yankee springs has a trail riding group of people that help keep the place in shape. A must for the horse and trail riding lover.

This is the fourth year that we have camped at y.s. and we just love it, always taking green horses and going home with broke horses, very good for the horses, mental and physical. And with these trails you dont have to have shoes on. The people we have met all have been friendly, and some have become long distance friends. Cant wait until next year.

I camped at Y. S. with A friend who lives in michigan ,I live in In. I enjoyed the trails and had a good time. but when the guy came arround to collect the money for staying there. Well I left $80.00 lighter in the pocket. Now don't mind paying to stay, but if michigan want's any more money from me, they better get a little more truth in there signs. I had to pay for a vehicle pass and the lot and I know it was the most I everpaid for one night anywhere ever. I would have left right then and there except I was tired of driving and my horse was tired of trailering. So i paid it. I was in no position to argue so I didn't . If A vehicle pass is $45. it seams to me I should be able to use it for more than one night. A season pass in ind. $46 ,but you can use it all season. Not just one night. that was in 2007 and I am still mad about it.If this was A mistake on my part and I just got took, I apoligise to michigan. The last revue my computer locked up so thats why the last revue is blank.

This is one of my favorites to trail ride for the day or for a couple of hours. In the fall this one is hard to beat. The 9 mile is my favorite but, be sure and wear orange starting in October. The 4 and 6 mile are great for a 2 hour ride too!

Yankee Springs is a beautiful area, the trails are wonderful. They have a 4 mile,6,and 9. The camping area is nice. There is a big fire pit ( ring ) and tie ups, outhouses, and a pump. Real camping.

Beautiful. Sandy trail with many softball sized rocks. I would not recommend for real green riders or beginning kids.

Nice small park. You can picket or have a portable corral for horses. Lots of great things to do around the area. Very friendly folks, trails well marked. Would like to see electric brought in and showers.

Nice trails, good sandy surface through most of the trails. Also, most of the trails are through wooded areas, so it's a nice cool place to ride in the summer.
