Fair Hill is only 2 hours from us so we ride here often. You cannot just camp here without a reservation that needs to be made a year in advance. We come and do day rides and you can see a good portion of the park in about 6 hours on a nice moving gaited horse. The trails are well marked, well maintained, and easy to ride. You'll ride in woods, through streams, over bridges (one covered bridge too) as well as big open fields and there are a few gravel roads. This is one of the best placed to take your horse and truly enjoy your day. With 5000 acres to ride, you can see wildlife, and experience nature in peace and quiet. The views are gorgeous and I like that there is plenty of water for my horse along the trail. If you aren't too far away, this is a must ride destination. The trails are definitely 5 star. |
