This park is a great place to start with your horse in the spring. Trails are wide and well kept, no strenuous hills. There's a pretty lake that it overlooks. Also, they have an outdoor arena that you can work your horse in if you aren't quite ready to hit the trails without first working your horse in a confined area. (Good for green horses who might be a bit nervous, to get them relaxed. Licking County does a great job maintaining this park. They do close the trails if it gets real muddy though, so the trails don't get messed up. |
