I sent my husband and his twin brother to UTrails for their 50th birthday, they had a wonderful time! They were on great mounts (shod by the way) and camped/rode for 5 days with Jim Mater and Jim (the cook!)in the Blue Wilderness. (The Gila was too wet at the time they were there.) They both had only great things to say about the hosts, the livestock and the beautiful country. The riding was gentle to very rough depending on the territory they were in, you have to remember that most of this area is not ridden continuously as are many "horse trails" at "horse campgrounds"; many trails they rode probably hadn't been riden on in several years, which was what they wanted! We would definitely ride with Jim again and recommend his trail services to any one interested in seeing beautiful country the way it should be seen, from the back of a good horse or mule! |
