A very nice day ride area. Takes about 2-2.5 hours to complete. There are many river crossings so if your horse is not good at crossing water, you will have a very short ride. There is no way around the crossings. in early spring when the snow melts, the river gets deep and you can't see the bottom, I would avoid riding here then. There are some smaller muddy areas. Not really that bad though. Very pretty ridding. There is one area where you will have to cross under an over pass. Some horses get spookey when cars are going over there head. Not a busy road so if you wait, you should be able to go underneath. Overall a nice area to ride.

Great scenic ride through the woods and along Twin Creek. The trail goes across the wide Twin Creeks numerous times. Not good in early Spring with high water, but a Beautiful summer and Fall ride. Very relaxing and quiet with few riders. You can stay on one side of the creek and ride, but the longer (orange) marked trail goes across the creeks. No campground, but a nice large Parking area with tie ups and Picnic Tables and restrooms.

Trails were surprisingly muddy in places, compared to other places we'd just visited. There were a few dry areas. Many large ruts as well. All river crossings have a large river bank (covered with tons of rocks) before getting to the water, which is also a wide crossing and very rocky. There are several river/stream crossings throughout the course of the trail, but with so many rocks to cross at all the riverbanks, if your horse is tenderfooted, it would be best to avoid this trail entirely unless shod or wearing hoof boots. Not my favorite trail, at least on that day. We also found the trail markings to be confusing. As someone else said, there are some relatively steep banks down to the river that might be daunting to some if muddy.

This is an excellent trail. It is very easy for beginning trail riders. There are a couple spots to note: Some of the creek crossings have steep banks. There is a portion of the trail (second creek crossing) where it goes under a bridge and there is not much head room for riders or horses. If you have a spooky horse I would recommend cutting to the left and crossing the street then picking up the trail on the other side instead of going under the bridge. Also, be careful after a lot of rain as the current is sometimes too strong to cross the creek. The horseperson's area is very nice, gravel with plenty of shade (though not very big). No water except for the creek. Trails are well marked.

Very easy trails. Lots of creeks to cross. No horsecamp, just day riding available
