This is our second time to camp here. We do a lot of day riding at this park because we live close. We camped here for a friend's first horse camping experience. The River is a beautiful place to ride. We often see deer and and have seen eagles many times. The mosquitoes can get pretty bad in late summer, but with the semi-drought that hasn't been a problem. This horse camp doesn't get much business because it is new, but hopefully word will spread. Use it or lose it. Make sure you have a trail tag because the rangers WILL check. |
