we dry camped in october after the camp hosts had left for the season so it was a bit rough. but so worth it as the aspens were in brilliant fall color! luminous yellow! you can call mill creek ranger station to get an idea of when they are at their peak. ask for directions to "aspen grove".

I have a new green horse, and she was fine on the trails. Some were more advanced, which I stayed away from this trip. The trails we were on were a combination of flat and hills, with a few water crossings. Amazing scenery. Lots of scensory for the horses. Camp was really nice. We were in a group and had over 45 horses that fit comfortably in the provided pens. Nice clean hot showers and clean flushing toilets. This area could easily provide fun for beginner to advanced riders. We tent camped and were very comfortable in our camping area. Can't wait to do it again!

This is a very nice campground. There are clean toilets and showers. Corrals are in good condition. The campground has a large fire ring with lots of picnic tables surrounding it. Great from group camping. Trails range from easy to rocky switchbacks. Views are incredible. Pine trees everywhere!!
