I am looking for some info on riding the trails to Suhmers Saloon..where exectly on the trails is it? Thanx!

Nice shower house and bathroom, areas to wash horse, easy access to water. Trails lead out of camp in two directions, difficult to access all 90 miles without trailering to another trailhead. Several loop trails close to camp so can vary route.

some sites now do have electricity, showers will be open by July!

Trails are in great shape, they are well maintained by the Dept of Natural Resources, and there are a varity of loops, and long stretches. Some trails are sandy, some have rocks, some are flat stretches, some have lots of hills. Some picnic tables are set up throughout the forest trail system, with hitching posts and mounting blocks. Makes for a great day of riding, with a stop for picnic lunch somewhere in the middle. Trails are marked with maps on posts, horse camping is available at Palmyra Horsemans Park.
