This is a fairly new camp ground and is started by Horseman's groups. Doing a great job and have many more plans for the camp. It is primitive and no water but they are working towards getting a well. The camp is really close to a lovely lake with a nice ramp which makes it easy to water horses. Trails are mapped and marked well and fairly easy. Beautiful area. The road is dirt/sand and it seems to take forever to get into camp but large rigs fit just fine. No defined spots or picket lines. Need to bring ropes or corrals.

The campground is nice but NOT kept up with the grass etc. Yes can be tight with our bigger rig & all the horses; would be nice for a smaller "group" to camp and stay tho'. Now the trails--the beginning in the woods is really nice BUT once onto the firelanes it takes way tooo long to get back into the woods again. Once way out there on the "trail" again it very nice. Takes way toooo long to get to that point again. Its almost 45 minutes to the firelane and at least that again to the next "trail". Are a couple bridges to cross when you get back onto the "trail". If a wet season the trails can be very wet & muddy in the beginning. Otherwise for a quick/overnight or a sudden overnight it is good.

Trails include many gravel roads with large size gravel. Tender footed horses will require boots! Very scenic but not a fan of road riding although did not encounter any traffic. Bugs not bad. Campground was not mowed and grass was knee high but despite that nice quaint and quiet camp. A little cramped for large rigs. Very easy trails for all skill levels, nice first time camp experience for kids, likely to disappoint those looking for adventure.
