most of the trails are well-marked, wide, and easy to follow. Some trails are not so well-marked, but they make the ride interesting. Since the property is enclosed it's not a scary proposition to get lost like it could be at some other places.
Vast majority of the trails are very easy, some long, slow uphill hauls, nothing particularly steep. One lesser-ridden trail does have a steep down or up (depending on direction you ride) section that I recommend only for horses that have some good downhill experience. Riders that are faint of heart may want to shut their eyes. *G*
No hunting so this area is a good spot to ride while guns are blazing elsewhere. It does mean the deer population is higher here than you may see in other riding areas. |
