This was our first trip to Pomona Lake and more specifically Blackhawk Horse Camp. We loved everything about it. The trails were challenging enough to not get bored but not so tough that one would worry about getting the horses hurt. There were water crosses and wild life to enjoy. The camp site was pleasant and the owners were divine. We will go back many times over.

First visit to Blackhawk Horse Camp. Very nice setup. Easy to back trailer into nice level pads. Nice pens right by sites with big fire ring and picnic table. Water hose reaches pens. Great hosts. All they need is a shower house. Trails were good. Not difficult, mostly level riding but great scenery even with lake so low.

Nice clean campground, safe corrals, friendly hosts, great trails. Has 6 electric sites, lots of primitive area, a lighted round pen, lighted corrals, nice all over experience.
