This is one of the best horse camps I have been to. Nice clean campsites and horse pens, clean showers, store, you name it...this is a full service horse camp. Ride right out of camp and into the Rocky Mountain Nation Park where the trails are shared between hikers and horses only. Trails are very nice and the views are some of the best in the country. We saw lots of deer, elk and moose. The bark beetle damage to the forests are a bit dishearten, but offer wise the trails are beautiful. If you ride out the back of the camp you are in the Arapaho National Forest. These trails are shared by hikers, horses, motorcycles, 4-wheelers and 4x4's and are not as nice of trails as in the park. One thing is go sure...YOU WILL ENJOY YOURSELF! This is a beautiful place to camp and ride but you will need to make reservations very early as this place books up fast!

Amazing place to stay and visit. Colorado river runs by the camp. Surrounded by the Rocky Mountains on all sides. Riding is very nice. Trails are marked very well and well maintained. Campground is nicely maintained with many activities to take part in. Close to Grand lake which is a very charming town. You ride out the gate and you are in Rocky Mountain National Forest, no riding a long ways to get to the mountains or start of the park trails cause you are there when u walk out the gate. Everything about the place is clean and well kept. Riding is beautiful.
