I kept two horses at the site from May 8th through May 12th and left Thursday morning. There was a bit of rain but I did get in a few 4 hour days on the trails. There were a lot of grassy trails. Mostly a nice easy ride.

There are now improved GREAT campgrounds with electric and water. There are several day use pens/ corrals with water but not many with electric. We put up a portable electric pen at our camp site and had water and electric. There is quite a variety of trails, out in the open, hills and regular wooded trails. Out in the open trails you don't need shoes on your horse the others depend on your horse, we rode everything without shoes. We also went during Memorial Day weekend and it rained the whole time and the trails were WAY too muddy to ride.

Trails are poorly marked and over used. There are many muddy boggy areas where the possibility of losing a shoe or sinking to your horses knees. Campground needs to be cleaned up too. No electric and available water is not accessed easily. Old trail areas need to be reopened to alliviate over use of grounds.
