trails are close till May 1st, but lane to camp (2miles) is always open to ride. Local horse groups working hard to keep this a drier trail area!! Always looking for new members

The campground was very nice with a lot of shade, but the trails weren't at all what I expected from the other reviews I read. It seemed like you spent more time on the drive or the gas line lane than you did in the woods. There are a lot of loops off of the drive back to the horse camp but the longest one we went on/could find was maybe a 1/2 hour at a walk and you would end up back on the drive or pipe line again. There was a lot of down trees and muddy spots but that didn't really bother us (we have ridden at places with a lot more mud.)I guess I was hoping for longer trails with out the driveways and open lanes. If you like riding out in the open alot then its a nice place to ride.We ran into quite a few other people and everyone was very nice.

Camp is so peaceful!! (2miles away from others) Nice picket lines and latrines are fine. Friendly local OHC People. Trails do have mudd(don't all trails - if you don't ride in mudd sorry but stay at home in the arena), great trails though, from easy for beginners to some challenging.

I LOVE THIS PARK. BEUTIFUL WOODS AND WATER VIEWS. NEVER STAYED AT THE HORSE CAMP BUT THE DAY PARKING IS GREAT!!!!EASY PARKING WITH OUTHOUSES AND WATER FOR HORSES. GOOD MARKED TRAILS AND VARIOUS LEVELS OF TRAILS. CAN SPEND AN HOUR ON TRAILS OR ALL DAY.

Trails go threw woods & meadows.Muddy trails at all times, but still like to ride there.Primative, well pump for water, picket ties with good drainage for horses. Sun shower set back in woods. Must have reservations. Lots of down trees on trails but can get around without too much trouble.

Fairly easy trails, well marked. Can be muddy at times. Local OHC and NEO Trailrides work hard on trails and camp. 2 showers, nice trailer sites. Primitive but nice.
