Great trails for day rides. Like most trails they get muddy but interesting scenery. It was a little scary today as deer season is open, lots of orange, so be careful, wear orange and make noise (for the deer). The newest trail has been changes slightly in the open field. its nice through the dry stream bed and then riding through new growth cedar stand. Overall, a GREAT trail for those of us that live near Nashville and just need a few hours in the saddle. Thanks Cedars of Lebanon State park staff!!

They have cleaned up the old trail, mowed it and added dome directional signs. They have added a new trail (6 Miles) and it is really nice especially going ove the big hill. It's nice to have two trails to choose from and to ride.

Good short trails for an afternoon ride. I was nice riding through a cedar glade and the trail through the hardwoods was chalanging. Needs some dead trees removed but overall not a bad afternoon.

Nice peaceful ride. The trails are wide, rocky with minimal mud, of course this summer has been dry. We got a map and rode into the state forest.....it was nice out there...could get turned around........getting lost would be hard since we crossed a bunch of roads.

It's a good little short ride. Something to do early in the morning or late afternoon for a couple of hours.

Not bad trails for a short early morning or evening ride. Good trails for working out a horse in preparation for bigger riders like Many Cedars or Circle E.

I have ridden the trails many times, there are some rocky places, stairstep rocks and dirt muddy trails, which makes for an interesting ride. The terrain is typical of middle Tennessee and nowhere near as strenuous as Big South Fork. As for the person who had the problem with rocks, she must ride at a city park with groomed/mulched trails not on real trails.

The trails are extremely rocky, like you are riding in a river bed. The horses did not like walking on such huge and jagged rocks. I would not recommend. If you rode your horse with boots on, maybe. Plus several areas were washed out and very overgrown..which that is expected with the recent rain. Also, the trails are narrow and single file.

I have an older mare and this was an easy relaxing ride that she and I both could really enjoy.

About as bad as it gets. If you like to ride through mud holes, look at cedar trees and rocks this is the place to go. All flat and nothing exciting to see.
