Sadly, the Campground is closed and has been for some time. Springs Valley Lake is one of my favorite trails in Indiana. Beautiful in the fall. Trails are not difficult but shoes are necessary. There is a trailhead to park and ride from. It's 2 miles in to the main forest trail that circles Spring Valley lake. That trail is 8 miles making your total trek 12 miles. You'll need to purchase a state forest trail tag. If you need to camp, Youngs Creek primitive US Forsest campground is nearby. If you live in southern Indiana this is a must ride destination.

Great place to camp. Some spaces a bit tight for large trailers. Been to camp about 10 times and will return again. Very private and no through traffic just sight seeing. Trails great for unexperienced riders. I Love this Place

Campground is new and very well thought out. Water and electric hook up available at each non-primitive site. Nice stalls available for horse if you choose not to use hitching rail at campsite. I was there for an special event weekend where the meals were provided, excellent hospitality. Trails were slightly muddy after a wet week and weekend but way better than expected. Will definitely be making many return trips.
