HOURS & variety of trails, from simple to more experienced, quiet & CLEAN sites. We camp there every chance we get! Have seen the best in horse people out there. Strangers helping strangers in parking large trailers, catching the occasional loose horse, helping with most anything someone needs help with. Nice experience all the way around.

My husband and I hosted the silver creek horsecamp for a couple years and miss the shady winding trails through the forest,Texas just isnt the same ! the primitive camping is quiet with pick poles and vault toilets, but book sites in advance at holiday times they fill up fast !

Nice trails, although not very long. The water was fun - nice rocky, solid bottoms - not real muddy. This is an old gravel pit, so some of the trail is pretty rocky. It was a nice quiet ride - only saw one other horse the day we went.

Lots of fun, beautiful scenery. We went off the trails a few times accidentally, so keep an eye out for those signs! Great way to spend a day!

Miles of dirt road, single trails in the woods and sandy 2 track. Very pretty views of the Kalamazoo river, Ottawa Marsh and Swan Creek. Water available at the DNR as well as maps. *Avoid hunting season though* :) There are signs for no trespassing so keep your eyes on the trees. Bring a GPS and go explore for hours.
