So sad that we've been told this place is no longer in operation as of 2012 due to loss of trail access, no reason given. It was a really nice place.

We stayed here end of Sept and really liked the camp. Jo & Mrs Ellie were very accommodating. The camp was nice and trails were good also. There has been logging going on in places so some trails are not very pretty, but there is still plenty of pretty riding. The camp has about everything a person would want or need; they even provide trash cans and trash bags for each camp site. We will probably be back sometime and would definitely recommend it to others. (note: in the winter they winterize their shower house and lock it up)

Campground way below my standards as a great place to stay with a horse. Trails same way, won't waste my time on them. Bathroom.....portable outhouse that was locked! I would not waste my time or money at this place.

the camp sites were very clean and nice. Everyone was very nice. The trails are very rocky so do put shoes on your horses. The trails were great.

Just came home from a campout for 4 days at J.D. Trails. Can't say enough good things about the Campground, the trails, and Jo and Ms Ellie were so hospitable. Excellent accomodations, super clean, roomy stalls in barn, with everything you need. Sites great, Pavillion is great for meals, nice gas grill, refrigerator provided. Also tv for weather updates. Nice clean bathouses. We will definately be back. Cowgirl Up, NW Arkansas

Had a great time. The wild iris were beautiful as were the dogwoods. We even found a couple of Morel's.....Miss Ellie brought us wonderful deserts. The trails were marked and the campground was very well kept. We enjoyed the pavillion. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to J-D for about 3 years, I go twice a year and can't wait to go again. Jo and Ms Elly do a great job keeping every thing clean and stocked. The food is really good and plenty of it. I've been taking new people each time I go and they have loved it too! The other people I've met there have been wonderful, great place to bring the whole family! I still haven't been on all the trails.

Jo, David and Miss Ellie are great hosts and just great people. The camp can be rated A++++++++++ for cleanliness. There is nothing lacking at the J-D. Jo and David will go above and beyond for the people that visit them. Oh, Miss Ellie Makes a great brownie and a great pumpkin pie.

We spent a week at this campground and have no complaints. The grounds, stalls, and bathrooms were excellent. We have done quite a bit of camping and have never stayed in a camp this clean. We were treated like family. Miss Ellie brought wonderful home baked goodies around every other day. Alot of the trails are logging roads but, mixed in with the trails it's not so bad. Jo and Linda work very hard to make sure every need is met. Very pleased with our visit and will definitely be returning.

HIGHLY recommend. No deficiencies exist here, folks. This place is family-owned, and we need to give them our business.

People that run the camp are WONDERFUL. Stalls are safe and clean. The trails are kept really well, views amazing, and safe. However, remember to stay on the trail, we did get lost for a few hours when we decided to take a path less traveled.
