Great Trails, From Horsecamp went to Little Elden to Little Bear Sunset to Sultz Tank then up Weatherford through the aspen to Kachina trail and back to Sultz Tank, Arizona Trail back to Horsecamp. The next day we rode Little Elden to Christmas Tree trail rode that trail and backtracked.

Great place to camp and be cool during hot desert summers. Good camping, great trails. Camp host is very helpful. Water for horses and people costs $5/day-seems it would just be added to the camp fee, but it is in addition to the fee and the host collects it. There is communal horse trough, too. We have found the trails to be easy to navigate. You can feel comfortable leaving your horses in camp and heading to town to shop or dine. Excellent meals at Horsemen Lodge nearby; good brewpub in town. It is hard to get a site on short notice during hot weather, so reserve early. No showers, but clean vault toilet. High lines for 2 horses at sites, camp has wheelbarrow for hauling manure. Feed store nearby. Bring firewood, none available in camp. There is a section of firepit which has a grill for bbq.
