Wonderful trails that parallel the North Branch of the Clinton River. Well marked with maps through out. Easy riding. Capmgound in part of the Huron Clinton Metopark so the bathrooms are well kept. Lots of picketing poles with 100% fenced camping.

The trails are very well maintained and wide enough for carts / carriages. There is one somewhat steep section, but I've seen wagons go up and down. Steep hill at the very beginning, horses do okay with it. Coming back, be sure to go slow up the hill because there is a campground road at the top. You have to go under an overpass. Very pretty in the spring and fall. Mostly open areas, some woods, the area along the river is quite pretty. There are flush toilets and running water in a building. Across from the trail head are the 4H show grounds with several arenas. The Wolcott Mill Trail Association holds several events throughout the year. There are maps in the mail box at the head of the trail.
