If you are looking for the location that has it all, you will find it in Myles Standish. We have been using the equestrian camp here for several years. We have a nine year old daughter and when it comes to keeping the kids happy you won't find a better location. The host campers including their dog Rosie, have always welcomed everyone and provided specific trail info, including guided tours to make the experience absolutely awesome for all. Most days we ride early morning or late afternnon during the hot summer. In the afternoon Charge Pond which is a short stroll from the sites provides a refreshing swim and plenty of sandy beach for the kids that also offers lots of shade for mom and dad. From mid July through August there is an abundance of wild blueberries making the best breakfast you could imagine. One more way to entertain the little ones. The park also offers a schedule of events on a weekly basis which is posted on the bathroom doors. They offer everything from story telling including s'mores, to fire safety, and nature walks to learn about the animals, vegetation in the forest. It is the perfect camp for any equestrian family looking for great trails, swimming, relaxation and education. They offer it all in Myles Standish. We just can't get enough. |
