This is a great riding area with beach access and a fantastic day camping area equipped with numerous corrals, grills and picnic tables. The problem is the day camping area is NEVER open (Budget cuts). If you try to call the info line it will give you an automated message which is never accurate. You can park your rig at the front of the park (just before the locked access gate)and still access all the trails and beach. There is a porta-potty and water available in this area however, nothing else. Parking can be difficult on the weekends so come early park with the understanding other rigs will be parking along side you. |
