This was our first time camping here. We loved it and plan to return! The campground sites are great with picnic tables and firepits. There were sites large enough for our 8ft wide 45' total length truck and trailer. The bathhouse was heated which we appreciated! However, the showers at the wrangler campground aren't for tall people. The showers at the barn had higher faucets. As another reviewer said, the trail map isn't very good, but we talked with ranger Greg who said he is working on a better one. He was open to ideas and suggestions how to improve the map and the campground - we suggested a place to put manure since they'd like you to leave the campsites clean. There are miles and miles of trails. All are great for barefoot horses. The deep washed out places make the trails an intermediate ride, but the deepest places had detours already in place. All in all, a great place to camp and ride, and one we look forward to coming back to.

Love this place you can ride for days and never ride the same trail. Not necessary to have shoes on your horses. The wrangler campground is nice and clean their is alot of room at each site to picket your horse. I keep my horses in the barn its about a quarter of a mile away from the campground. The barn is really nice and a really nice lady running the facility. We use a gps system the map they give is not that great. Overall is a great place to visit i have been there twice and stayed a total of two weeks and still haven't rode all the trails.

AWESOME! We love this place & will return. The wrangler campground & trails were ideal. Since you can't make reservations, it's best to arrive mid-week 'cause the campground began to fill up by Friday night.
