We rode our bikes on it starting at the S. Haven end to Grand Junction. The horse trail along side was in terrible shape & I wouldn't dare ride my horse on it. A trail group needs to adopt it and bring it up to better(safe) standards.

Super boring trail system. Could be better if branches were cut regularly. Obviously not a concern for the Kal-Haven trail custodians. In some areas you have to share the bike trail so if your horse is afraid of bikes, beware. Most bikers were very courteous and would slow down or stop. The bike trail is very hard and hard on horses legs. Very disappointing Rails-To-Trails system we have here. I'm embarassed!

Okay for pleasure (walking) riding. Trails are not kept up nice, watch for holes. Can be very wet in spots.

Trail does not allow horses for the first 20 miles at the Kalamazoo end
