GreenLane is a GREAT place to ride. Camping, not so much. There are no electric and water hookups at each site, only water generally provided. There are no showers; only one large port-a-lav. However, you shouldn't go to Green Lane to camp. You need to go there to RIDE. From the Equestrian Campground, where you can park and ride, there are three trails. One is the blue trail, a rigorous experience that you should have shoes or a horse that has tough feet (stones and MANY ups and downs!). Parts ride right on the resovoir, and you have options for upper and lower trails. You cross over an amazing concrete bridge that connects you to the red trail ( you can also access this trail from the campground). This is a rolling, open trail that is very beautiful. It also offers some cross country jumps, if you're into that! :O) You can also access the Perkiomen Trail from the campground, and it has many bridges and a nice open path to travel. Your horse should be used to lots of walkers and bicycles before heading on this trail. Some bikers can be seen also on the red trail. CAUTION:The ONLY thing you need to watch out for, as there is a lot of crossing small empty streambeds on the blue trail, are GROUND BEES. If you have a small group, they're not bothered, but watch out when traveling in LARGE GROUPS! Early spring and late summer, watch out! The riding is wonderful and the scenery beautiful. Perfect for a few hours of riding and if you stop for lunch, you can make a whole day of it. I think the riding is amazing. Camping is also way too expensive for what it is, especially on the weekends. I ahve been here at least four times.

Cpu wouldn't let me install star rating. This trail is exquisite. If you like terrain and beautiful streams with reservoir view - got 'em. Like open fields with grit based flat trails - got 'em. Like cross country jumps and lanes upon lanes of them - got those too. The marking system isn't the best, but its hard to get lost with the reservoir as your guide and a good trail map. Those are on line and they are at the campground.
