Beautiful trails and they are well maintained. Lots of hills, valleys, and a few bridges to cross. Some parts get muddy in the spring when there has been lots of rain ( like this year), but its not horrible. Spring time there is a ton of honeysuckle on the trails and it smells wonderful. Lots of shady areas to ride and well as some open field areas. Plenty of deer and wildlife around. You can access the Gregory trail from the Pinckney trails, where you will find bicyclists and joggers on that access trail. All must yield to horses but beware if your horse is not use to them. Most people will stop, but some just whiz on by. Good place to train if you need to get your horse use to them. There is a decent amount of parking in the staging area, we have a big rig and can get in and out fairly easily. Nice mounting platform area too. Definitely worth the trip!!

Awesome trails!!! Ride them all the time. Trails are not rocky...and you have a choice to ride flat ground or do muscle building hills. The scenery in the fall and winter is absolutely beautiful and VERY STEEP slopes and hills. Deer are a regular sight in the rec area. My husband and I back up to these trails and ride them daily.

Very nice trail not to tough but no park walk either. Several trees need removed and brush overgrowing in places. Trail marked pretty good, some markers shot up/vandelized.
