The leaves and flowers were so pretty on the trails. We saw 6 or 7 deer and turkeys. Some of the hills were really rocky and the horses had a hard time walking steady. Lots of woods and open prairie. The campground had outhouses and no showers. Also the water was way on the otherside of the campground. When we went it got down to 20 degrees and we wore about 6 layers of clothing to keep warm in our tent other than that I totally recomend it!

This is a beautiful place. We went before there were many leaves on the trees, and it is still very pretty. I submitted this entry and got the city wrong. It is near Pelican Rapids, not Fergus Falls.
