Very nice well kept campground. Trails are very easy. Was a nice trail to let horses stretch their legs while traveling. We stopped here for a layover on our way home.

The campground is very nice. Paved slots with electrical hookups, picnic table and fire ring. There is one large corral per campsite. This may be problematic if horses do not get along but big enough to be divided if you have the necessary equipment. Hitching post between campsite and corral. No horses allowed at the trailer which is a little unusual for a horse camp but keeps the camp very well maintained. The trails are beginner friendly, mostly on a grass path which follows the limestone hiking trail. No horses allowed on the limestone unless intersecting with the horse trail. This is enforced by the park rangers so be mindful of this restriction. One water crossing and a bridge. Wildlife and pretty views of the lake. A little over seven miles of trail. May not be a destination ride, but definitely worth stopping over like we did on our way to another ride.
