Unable to rate trails or campground. Kim, the owner was not at the campground on arrival. We spoke to an employee Sherry who sent us to the site she had set aside. The site was newly dug with a bull dozer all rough, dirt, hilly with stumps and mounds of soft dirt everywhere. We were told the site was created in the days before arrival. When making reservations we understood our sites would be where the already established sties are. After speaking with the employee she offered another site after she agreed that the site offered was unacceptable. We set up camp and were there for a couple of hours. The camp ground owner Kim arrived in the evening. Before we could speak with her she began to rant, rave and scream at me uncontrollably. She was threatening and couldn't speak a sentence without using the "F" word. There was no discussion only her screaming foul language. During her tirade Kim did admit to attempting to further charge our credit card without our authorization. Without hesitation we took down camp and left. Warning, there is no phone reception should you need to contact the police. We wish we could have.

Kim has done a wonderful job bringing this campground back to life. Horse facilities are fine. Manure management the best-no flies! Trails are very nice, and extensive. Pool was terrific on hot days. We loved it,and can't wait to go back !

Beautiful campground. Has everything you need, electric, water and they can pump out the holding tanks. Each horse site as a 2 horse shelter! Trails are beautiful, great for bare footed horses. Has a store for those forgotten things. Only bad thing is there is absolutely no cell service in the campground! ATT users may get a 1/2 of bar in one spot, and when you're trail riding, your phone will beep and you can have a bar of service! Great for the non horsey guests, too. Yankee Candle factory store nearby. Cheshire Horse tack store less than an hour drive! We will definetly return
