Nice combination of well-groomed, wide trails and single-track trails, going through natural woods and planted pines and looping around planted fields. Easy riding but not boring. Lots of water crossings with a wide, shallow creek. Out on trail, there is a very cool little screened in shelter where you can stop and have lunch, with picket lines already set up for your horses. Good maps and well-marked trails (although the trail marking is in process so sometimes we got a little turned around). Easy to find the property, and the property owner is wonderful - super friendly and helpful. Didn't camp there, but there are RV electric hook ups that looked easy to park in. This place is definitely a hidden treasure! |
