I don't see what everyone is saying is so great about The Fork Lodge and Equine Retreat. We drove down from Ohio looking for a place that our group could spend a couple of weeks this coming summer and the prices for this place were just outrageous and you have to shell out some bucks to be a member before you can ride their trails. The food for what you have to pay for it should be much better than it is. And from what the word is the owners are people that cant be trusted. Peoples belongings end up missing around these people. These people are the same Will and Lisa that bought Timber Ridge Horse Campground and took mine and a couple of my friends deposits from reservations that we had made for the Labor Day weekend totaling $375.00 that we could not get back after they left Timber Ridge and would not answer any of my calls. They still haven't made good on it and its been seven months I don't think I want to take a chance on doing business with Will and Lisa. They are proven liars. Just fore warning anyone that is planning on visiting this place don't leave anything of value in their reach, the prices are to much for what they give, they are much better places to camp where the trails are much nicer and they don't rob hard working people of their money just to ride the trails. Just a another gimmick to steal money and a get rich quick scheme.

Really love this place and the folks who run it! Will is working on the camping with trailer situation that is limited but the cabins, lodge and barns are great. We have enjoyed the fact that we can eat a good breakfast at the lodge & be prepared to ride with minimal fuss. Trails that we rode in the Highlands trail system were very nice and varied terrain. Wide and enjoyable. These folks have this place ready for trail riders now and I am sure that they will continue to make changes that will be even better!

Great place to stay! The facilities at the lodge & cabins are awesome and the barn area is great. Will & Lisa are wonderful hosts and are working on trailer accommodations but are still limited. The Highland trails that we have ridden are nice and well kept. Having a good place to eat as well is very convenient. Been there twice already this past fall & plan to return often!
