The stalls are horrible! 6' x 8', separated by just boards, where the next horses could kick yours, and the gates are made of 2 x 4's that you slide into position. My horse was out of there in a day. We ended up tying two gates together and both of them to either side of the stall, making getting in to feed, clean the stall or take the horse very difficult. The flies were so bad, no amount of fly spray on the horses or fogger in the stall would knock them down. They were all over the camp site as well, making sitting outside miserable. The trails were rocky, which is to be expected in the mountains, but some of the trails were so rocky as to be unsafe. Don't cross the river unless you plan on getting wet. The women's showers had only one stall with a shower head, the rest had just a pipe hanging down. The main door into the shower house is always left open and one morning when I went inside, there was a 4' black snake in one of the shower stalls! I will never go back there. |
