Trails are great mostly shaded through out! Horses need to be shod! There is one point at top of mountain that goes straight up and then around a loop which we got off horses for a few and got back on because it was very rocky and dropped off a hill side if your horse slipped! Other than that just don't go up the Big Hill! I always find someone to ride with if I go there alone.

I've camped here for years, and now they have electric at some campsites! Campground is flat, clean, spacious sites, excellent hot-water showers and flush toilets. Trails range from groomed bridle paths to rocky, technical. Recommend hoof protection (shoes or boots). Mustang Trail is technical, very steep, difficult. Eagle Valley trail is generally a moderate trail. Deer Run is a mix--rocky near Six Flags, easier in other parts; I'd rate it moderate. Ozark Trail has a long, moderately steep climb to an overlook, very rocky, moderate. Dogwood is lovely, curvy, some hills, easy-to-moderate. Fox Run, which goes through Rockwood Range, is long, some steep hills; moderate. Round House is rocky in places, can be muddy, moderate. Green Rock is very hilly, some technical areas, difficult--my favorite trail. Covered tie stalls for the horses with potable water. Very busy on holiday weekends; I'd recommend reservations. Park staff is delightful--park is very well maintained. Park is very convenient to shopping, RV/trailer/truck repair, restaurants, diesel, gas, Wal-Mart, groceries.

They now have electric campsites!! Flush toilets, clean showers. Trails are through woods, some steep hills, rocky (recommend shoes), can be challenging. Limited water on trail, but potable water in camp. Tie stalls and hitch rails, round pen. Very crowded on nice-weather weekends.

First visit on a Sunday. Fairly crowded parking. Trails well marked. Came to the conclusion that trail markers with green dot were easy in rating, diamonds indicated more difficult. One difficult trail from parking lot led straight down fairly steep hill loaded with larger rocks and slick terrain. Good place to go for a shorter ride. Longer if you want to try difficult and easy trails combined. Didn't run into any cyclists, suprising for a weekend.

Campground facilities are OK, trails are fantastic. Some of trails are blacktopped and there are jumps located along the trail. It's alot of fun to ride, pretty countryside.

If you enter the trails towards the east side you will encounter jumps set up along the way. From the North side of the trail it is rocky and a bit more challenging. Camping area is nice but a little on the smaller side.

The trails are very pretty for woods riding. There are a lot of pretty good size hills. Seen several deer and turkey. Bald eagles are known to spotted there too.
