Rode there in the spring with owner as guide, good thing, trails weren't marked. Plenty of room to ride, ground sounds hollow in places and there are caves on the property. Quite a bit of cactus so beware. Also, rattlesnakes in warm weather could be an issue, we didn't see any at this time. Nice views of the Gloss Mts. from many vantage points, lots of up and down, some places shades, lots open hills. Camping available but limited and not fancy or shaded. Arena and few corrals for horses, otherwise tie, picket, or maybe high line if you can find two trees close enough. Very nice people, a bit pricey if not in a group of five, flat rate up to that. Would like to go back in late fall, after snakes are holed up, and weather cools from summer, HOT around here then. All in all a decent place with pleasant folks and pretty good trails. Not all trails for beginners but some are available. Place is expanding and conveniences growing. Bring your own food, town is a ways off. |
