I was appalled when I read "Unhappy Camper"'s remarks because of the untruths it told. After reading this review and knowing the campground and trails as well as I do (having ridden on them for years now), this lady had to have been paid by another horse camp owner to write such a review. It was full of untruths. You can not ride all the trails in one day. That is a total untruth. There are trails for beginners and those of us that have been riding for years. I bring my riding students here to expose them to all the different kinds of terrain and obstacles a rider might face. This is a great learning experience for them and at the same time they are getting to enjoy the beautiful creation God has made. And this place is full of them. Beautiful streams, fern groves, caves, rock bluffs, etc. As far as prices are concerned, KC is one of the less expensive places I have camped. And I have trail ridden in Missouri, Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Tennesee, Mississsippi, Georgia, Kentucky just to name a few. So please, if you have not ridden and camped at KC Ranch, please try the place out for yourself and make your own evaluation. Don't let another camper keep you from seeing and riding the beautiful sites this Horse Camp has to offer you. |
