The view while camping was spectacular and the trails were very well taken care of and wide enough for multiple riders. Although the campground is a pasture when not in use, it was well mowed and taken care of. They allowed us to use electricity from the Lounge Area (Barn). Round pens were available for some, but also hitching posts were on all the sites. Water for horses was a 100 yards away from camp. Showers were available in an old milk house and do have hot water. Phil took the time to show us the trails the first day and we never felt as though we would get lost. Nice place to try compared to a typical, busy horse campgound. |
