Dupont state forest is a easy riding with hills and lots of climbing but great manicured trails. Holly View Farm is the place to camp and Tracy the owner is the best. The camp has everything you need for your rig and nice stalls. one cabin is available. been there twice now and will return again. Thanks to Tracy for being so accomdating

Beautiful place to camp and the trails at Dupont are amazing!! Tracy was great to trailer our group of 7 back & forth on a busy holiday weekend. The waterfalls were beautiful and trails were marked & matched the map. Camp has everything you need with firepits, stalls and a nice bath house. We can't wait to return in the fall!!!

Holly View Rocks!!!! Nestled in a beautiful valley, plenty of easy access camping spots, flat grassy spots to relax and graze your horse, Nice stalls close to camp spots,Tracy was very accomodating with taking us to Dupont one day and Pisgah the next. Very reasonably priced and Tracy and her Dad were wonderful. Will definitely be going back!!!!

Pisgah is one of my favorite places to ride. It can be rugged in spots. In one section, you cross the South Mills River 13 times. Probably not for the beginner without a guide. Horses should be in reasonably good condition and shoes are a must. We stayed at Holly View Farm, which offers a "Class A" campground with hook-ups, level pads, a toilet with shower, and a small bunk house. Horses can be kept inside in stalls or in paddocks with covered shelter. Holly View Farm is about 8 miles from the Turkey Pen trailhead. Tracy will take you and your horses there for a small fee.
