This is a beautifully maintained trail system. Not very challenging, however. Perfect for young horses/riders or beginners. The arena is a plus if you need to work your horse a bit before heading out.

Although this site seems geared toward riding horses, I am a driver. Infirmary Mound is perfect if you have a driving horse. Nice wide trails with good footing. Good parking for your trailer, water, and some shade. Great for picnic drives.

This park is a great place to start with your horse in the spring. Trails are wide and well kept, no strenuous hills. There's a pretty lake that it overlooks. Also, they have an outdoor arena that you can work your horse in if you aren't quite ready to hit the trails without first working your horse in a confined area. (Good for green horses who might be a bit nervous, to get them relaxed. Licking County does a great job maintaining this park. They do close the trails if it gets real muddy though, so the trails don't get messed up.

This place is great! Easy, clean and fun! No stress trails and a thoughtless ride if you are just looking for pure pleasure and relaxation. We usually ride through there twice to pick up 12 miles. Licking County OHC deserves a "good job" for this place!!

This is a very nice trail, particularly for green horses and/or riders. It is well maintained and fairly easy but has enough variety to make it interesting. Also, when other trails were muddy, this trail had good footing.
