Trace Trails is awesome! The trails are well marked, easy to follow and you don't need shoes. You can choose how many miles you ride by picking a color guide and sticking with it (maps provided at trail head) or you can change trails at every intersection. Lots of beautiful trees, some hills, some meadows, ponds, a little of anything you could want. The camping facilities are primitive. New improvements include a porta-potty and water spigots. We keep asking for electrical hook-ups and maybe someday! This is a jewel of a place for a day ride or a weekend's escape. The only negative (in my opinion) is the intrusion of some old 'junk" in places and abandonned fences that could prove to be a hazard. These are easy to over look in the overall beauty of the place. |
